heise shop - Relaunch to the shop system Magento
The Heise Shop is the e-commerce platform of Heise Medien GmbH & Co. KG, the largest IT publisher in Germany. The online shop offers all current magazines of the publishing house, selected reference books, e-books and digital magazines as well as an extensive article archive.
Task for the Heise Shop
In order to meet the constantly growing demands of the e-commerce market in the future, a relaunch of the existing online shop shop.heise.de was to be realised. In addition, the online shop and the backend systems are to be continuously developed and optimised.
Goal
The goal is to build a modern and high-performance Magento shop system and to adapt the functionalities to the current state of the art. With the relaunch, existing revenue sources can be better utilised, the reach increased and a visual redesign ensures a conscious differentiation from the news channel heise.de.
Result
The new e-commerce platform developed by igniti GmbH successfully positioned the company in the market. Thanks to our agile and ISO 9001:2008 compliant project management , new features as well as maintenance requests are implemented efficiently.
