Your IT Administrator & Quality Manager Opportunities

We have several admin positions open. On the technical side, we have System Administrator, DevOpsA Engineer, IT Administrator and Software Administrator. Regarding operations, we have positions in Quality Management. Although the positions are clearly defined, you should anticipate having some overlapping duties and responsibilities as everyone’s primary focus is about ensuring availability and security, regardless of position. The continuous improvement of workflow productivity and the bettering of company communications is a never-ending goal.

At igniti, you can contribute to these administrative areas:

IT System Administrator (m/f/x)

An IT System Administrator is responsible for the coordination, planning and support of hardware and software systems. Server is running too hot? The System Administrator stays cool. New Project Manager joins the team? The System Administrator takes care of the required work devices and puts them into operation with all necessary Windows / Linux / Mac OS components. Software Tester joins the team? The System Administrator takes care of the required work devices and puts them into operation with all necessary Windows / Linux / Mac OS components.

Devops Engineer (m/f/x)

DevOps Engineering is probably the supreme discipline in IT administration. As a DevOps Engineer, you are not only responsible for the (continued) development of the company’s IT infrastructure, including the cloud system, you also work on various projects as a go between for administration (QM/administration/operations), IT administration and software development. The higher-level position of DevOps Engineer in IT Administration also requires you to monitor, program, create scripts and tools, and manage digital certificates / licenses, in addition to performing administrative tasks such as device setup and testing. DevOps Engineers to listen to their team, determine what they need to work well together and provide it.

Quality Manager (m/f/x)

Quality management is about the introduction and continued development of standardized processes and measurements that serve to improve communication and compliance. The first step in optimizing these structures is to continuously increase the quality of our products and services resulting in increased employee and customer satisfaction. In these audits, you will follow established protocols and standards that are intended to ensure better quality. The tasks of a quality manager also include the promotion of igniti certifications (e.g. ISO 9001 of the TÜV). At igniti, a quality manager will interact with each igniti staffer over time but will mostly bear sole responsibility for the issues mentioned above.

Your new view

As Thuringians, we love our idyllic state and especially Jena. The city is known for the Jentower, our office HQ and extremely popular photo motif/viewing platform. Who wouldn’t love see the surrounding hills, rivers and valleys from their desk in the states tallest building?

If you want to save yourself the commute or circumstances don’t allow for everyday office work in Jentower, as a digital agency Home Office work has always been acceptable.

Your Fit

So, you share our enthusiasm for innovative software solutions, modern working conditions and a relaxed, productive working atmosphere with constant development? Great, that’s half the battle! The other is competence level. Obviously, a degree in computer science or IT field training is most desirable, but more important to us is your actual knowledge and skills – both on a professional and human level.

We can always use experienced software developers who write C# and C++ codes like others write a love song: personally/ individually, with heart and tact. So that the overall result is a harmonious software symphony. Well, one way or another.

In any case, we expect a certain amount of initiative from everyone in our Digital Solutions team, as well as a high sense of responsibility and a thorough way of working. You’ll also score points with us for your technical curiosity and openness to expanding your individual knowledge. Nothing stands in the way of your new job at igniti GmbH and a successful, meaningful collaboration.
