SICAT GmbH & Co. KG – portal.sicat.com/eu is a global leader in the production of dental drill guides and therapy splints. SICAT successfully drives the digitalisation of medical practices with high benefits for doctors and patients.
TASK
Provision of a future-proof B2B e-commerce platformwith which SICAT can inform its customers quickly and efficiently about the current production status. The previous ordering process via telephone/fax is to be replaced and digitally mapped. The existing merchandise management system and customer databases are also to be connected.
IMPLEMENTATION
- Conception & implementation of the digital ordering process for the introduction of the new 3D visualisation, diagnosis and product configuration software (SICAT Suite)
- Bi-directional connection of the merchandise management system for the fully automated transfer of order information from the B2B shop and monitoring of the synchronisation
RESULT
Within 6 months, the online shop and SICAT Suite were connected, simplifying the ordering process for customers many times over. The analogue, error-prone process was digitalised. All information can now be entered within SICAT Suite, which directly executes the orders and creates all accompanying notes. Support requests decreased rapidly, resulting in faster production. Since then, there has been continuous development of the portal.
